Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I live for the challenge of working with initially limited information and making critical clinical decisions when an undifferentiated patient enters the ED. Additionally, in the ED we are privileged to care for people when they are at their most vulnerable. The ability to provide immediate aid and comfort a person in distress is the sacred part of EM that inspires me.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? I knew the training I would get at IU would be unparalleled. I wanted to train at a program that would prepare me for anything I encounter in my career; IU is definitely this place.

What are some of your personal interests? My interests include social EM, global health, and palliative care.
