Bio
Dr. Garcia grew up in Naperville, Illinois and received her medical degree from Indiana University. Some of her previous research includes prevention of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors in Neurofibromatosis type I, management of acute mesenteric ischemia in a mouse model, and developing a neonatal registry for the Riley Mother and Baby Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya. She loves spending time with her husband (a current MS4 at IUSM), friends, and her dog, Appa. She also enjoys hosting board game nights.
