Komal A. Kumar, MD

Komal Kumar was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. She went to undergrad and medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She loves working with refugee patient populations and speaking/learning medical Spanish. Things that bring her happiness are any type of elevation, dogs, backpacking, Thai food, sun on her face during the day, and rain sounds to sleep at night.  In her free time, she is excited to explore breweries in Indy, hike the surrounding areas, and attempt to keep her plants alive. She is excited to care for the diverse patient population that IU serves.
