Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I love the hussle and bussle of Emergency Medicine. I love the diversity of pathology that I get to encounter, and I love having a broad knowledge of everything. I also appreciate getting to be the first to get the full story and create that initial differential. But the very best part is meeting and working with some of the coolest human beings on the planet!

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? IU is one of four programs that offer combined training in Emergency and Pediatrics. I felt that the program is way ahead when it comes to diversity and wellness initiatives and they make it clear that these are priorities within the institution. The culture of the program also fit very well with me and I knew this would be a place that I would easily feel like I am a part of a family that truly looks after each other. The opportunities through IU are endless.

What are some of your personal interests? I'm interested in community outreach and education, as well and working in underserved communities. Other interests I have include adolescent medicine and Global Health.
