Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? The fast pace and quick decision making environment found in the Emergency Department is constantly challenging and exciting for me. It’s a fun and dynamic setting to work in and the people are the best part. EM offers the perfect mix of critical care, primary care, and procedures to keep me motivated and enthusiastic at work.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? After rotating at IU as a medical student, I knew this was where I wanted to train. I had yet to experience an environment in medicine where people were working this hard, yet still smiling, laughing and having fun on shift. IUEM had the perfect balance of a rigorous training curriculum combined with a supportive and family oriented culture. Between the 3 level 1 trauma centers, residents are exposed to everything that high acuity, high volume training in emergency medicine has to offer.

What are some of your personal interests? I’m avid follower of the stock market and latest business news. Enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family.
