Bio

Why I chose family medicine: For me, medicine has always been about being an advocate for patients of all ages, and family medicine gives me the best platform to do this. Family medicine allows me to be involved in every aspect of patients’ health in order to provide them with the best care possible. I enjoy getting to know patients over a long period of time and establishing strong relationships with them. Family medicine also gives me the opportunity to continually gain knowledge in a wide variety of areas and also perform a variety of procedures.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose this residency program because of the people, the diverse patient population and the many opportunities the residency provides. Upon meeting the residents, faculty and staff, I quickly realized how hardworking and supportive they are. I truly felt like they were a group that I would enjoy spending my time with over the next three years of residency. The diverse patient population allows for me to be exposed to many different people and pathologies, which will help me become a well-rounded physician. I also like that the residency allows residents to explore their personal interests.

Personal interests and hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to music/attending concerts and catching up on my favorite TV shows.
