Why IU:  I was fortunate to be a student at IUSM and directly witness how special the Med-Peds program is here. I was impressed with all of the residents I had the opportunity to work with - they were kind, smart, hard-working, and wonderful teachers and leaders. The Med-Peds presence on campus is impressive and I like that we are appreciated and welcomed. It is great working across multiple hospital systems and seeing Med-Peds residents, fellows, and staff wherever I go! Lastly, I feel that I can explore whatever interest I have and pursue it well with IU Med-Peds, whether it be a combined specialty, research, global health, medical education, or primary care. Ultimately, IU is where I thought I would be the most supported and where I could grow into the future physician I want to be!
