Why I chose Family Medicine: I believe that family medicine is a specialty that requires genuine interest in patients and a lot of dedication and ability to communicate with patients of all age groups. It also engulfs a huge diversity of specialties into one. You get to see everything from minor complaints to serious more severe issues. You get to do everything through family medicine.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: I wanted to be a part of something new and exciting that has so much potential for growth. Working with faculty members one-on-one is a huge asset that allows me to learn from attendings all the tools and skills I need to be an excellent doctor. I also felt so comfortable during my interview and I felt a sense of family and belonging that made this program so attractive to me!
