Dr. Amaniampong received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her research includes studying Early Childhood Dental Caries: Xylitol use Increasing Oral pH to Improve Quality of Life in Underserved Pediatric Populations. Dr. Amaniampong has a strong passion for international medical missions and global health outreach. She would like to pursue a career in Pediatric Emergency Medicine both locally and Internationally. While in medical school, she was involved with the MSUCOM Global Outreach and traveled to Peru and Cuba. She also volunteered with Project CURE providing medical supplies to developing countries, as well as Luke 52 Project providing free healthcare to pregnant women and their infants. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, soccer, traveling, cooking, and kick boxing.
