Why IU School of Medicine, Emergency Medicine: During her third year of medical school she applied to do an away rotation at IU School of Medicine based on the excellent reputation of the program. She also had a personal interest in the Track system. Kasey was ecstatic to be accepted, and she had one of the best months of her medical school career while working at IU. The strength of training, diverse sites, quality faculty and residents made IU School of Medicine the perfect spot for her. Kasey felt like she already fit in after just one month.

Hobbies and Interests: She loves running and working out, competing in obstacle course races, riding horses, and refurbishing old furniture or building it from scratch.

Fun Fact: While in Texas for an equestrian meet, she competed in a Texas Two-Step competition and won!
