Why IU: I couples matched with my wife, Torrey (a Peds resident) and we couldn’t have imagined a better fit! The people are the best part, with incredible colleagues who quickly became friends and ultimately family. Additional strengths include the collegiality of a “big” Med-peds program (14 per class), exceptional clinical and research training, limitless academic opportunities (largest medical school in the country), world-class and approachable mentors, and a model global health program (AMPATH). Indy is a fun, lively, welcoming, diverse, sunny, charming midwestern city full of nature, music, art, cuisine, and a great place to live in and around. I couldn’t be happier to be a resident here!
