Why IU: I spent my summers during undergrad in Chambrun, Haiti, which inspired an interest in global health and healthcare for underserved populations.  I went through the MD/MPH program at IU School of Medicine and was impressed by the quality of the Med-Peds program and its residents, as well as the incredible global health opportunities available through IU. These factors made the IU Med-Peds program a perfect fit for my residency training, and I look forward to the next four years!
