Bio
Dallas is a 1991 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed the Emergency Medicine Residency at Methodist Hospital and is ABEM certified. He is a full-time clinician and teaching faculty at the program. Active at the state level, he currenlty serves on the Board of Directors. His special interest areas are computer applications in emergency medicine, telemedicine, handheld computing and digital photography.
He is a member of the Computer Section of National ACEP, and is past secretary. He is also a reviewer for the Annals of Emergency Medicine. He is the priniciple MD investigator for Methodist in the MedTeams' Study; a large government funded, mulicenter study of teamwork training in emergency medicine. MedTeams may hold the key to providing a better workplace for emergency care providers and a safer environment for patients.
