Bio
Dr. Hege is an assistant clinical professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and faculty member of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. She has clinical and research interests including diagnosis and management of pediatric thrombosis and inherited thrombophilias, management of thromboprophylaxis, evaluation and management of inherited and acquired bleeding disorders with special interest in young women and girls with blood disorders, management of vascular malformations, and management of ITP. She actively participates in clinical trials for new treatments in hemostasis and thrombosis, including new medications for thrombosis, hemophilia, and ITP.
