Bio
Dr. Tejada obtained his M.D. from Valle University, Cali, Colombia in 1995. After completion of his Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Dr Tejada successfully completed a Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine and his Neurointerventional Radiology Fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. After his training he joined the faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Tejada is currently a Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. Professor Tejada has developed a very successful career since joining the faculty at IU. During the last 20 years, he has created a strong program in Neurointerventional Radiology. The growth of the program has been impressive and reflects the evolution of this sub-specialized field and the expansion of the indications for the treatment of catastrophic diseases of the central nervous system, including intracranial aneurysms and stroke. Dr. Tejada is an active researcher with numerous publications in peer review journals. He is also a passionate educator and continuously presents his work at national and international conferences.
