Bio
Dr. Cara Slagle is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and an attending neonatologist at the Riley Hospital for Children. Dr Slagle completed her pediatrics training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Children’s Hospital followed by Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She joins Riley Hospital for Children following a faculty position at Cincinnati Children’s where she was the Neonatal Co-Director for the Center of Acute Care Nephrology. Her clinical specialties and research interests are neonatal acute kidney injury (AKI), neonatal chronic kidney disease, and neonatal dialysis.
