Bio

Kelly Nudelman, PhD, is an Assistant Research Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM). Her research is focused on elucidating the genetics and biomarkers of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, related dementias, and brain injury.

Dr. Nudelman is the co-lead for the Genetics and Biomarker Core of the IU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (P30) and is a co-investigator on projects studying the genetics and biomarkers of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, including the Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease Study (LEADS, U01), the National Centralized Repository for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (NCRAD, U24), and projects funded by the Michael J. Fox Foundation to collaboratively investigate the genetics and biomarkers of Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Nudelman has served on national committees for organizations including the Alzheimer's Disease Sequencing Project and the ClinGen Parkinson's Disease Gene Curation Expert Panel, and is a member of the Alzheimer's Association International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART).
