Dr. Ross-Driscoll studies how access to care and care quality influence racial, socioeconomic, and geographic disparities in outcomes among patients with end-stage liver disease (ESLD), who require frequent interaction with the healthcare system. She has a strong interest in disparities in access to and outcomes from liver transplantation, the only curative treatment option for ESLD patients. In her role as an Assistant Professor at Indiana University, she will use her epidemiological training to understand how factors at multiple levels (patient-level, health systems-level, and neighborhood-level) influence disparities among liver disease patients and translate these findings into interventions and policy recommendations for improved equity and clinical care.
