Bio
Dr. Ali grew up in Syria where he received his medical degree from Damascus University. He then did his training in pediatrics at University of Aleppo and University of South Alabama followed by fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. Before joining the department of Pediatric Critical Care at IU, he did an additional training year in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ali is fascinated by the physiology and pathophysiology of congenital heart defects and cardiopulmonary interactions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
