Amogh Kambalyal, MD

Bio

Dr. Kambalyal is a faculty member within the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and a member of AAP, APA, and SHM. He is originally from the Chicago-land area and completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Orange County/ University of California-Irvine before returning to the Midwest to complete a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University School of Medicine. His interests include medical student and resident education and has taught core classes for medical students during their second and third years. He also has clinical interest in quality improvement improving workflow processes in the hospital, as well as a passion for addressing vaccine hesitancy. His work includes creating a curriculum to increase vaccination rates by utilizing medical students to aid in counseling and administering vaccines in the inpatient setting.
