Bio
Dr. Munchhof grew up in Southern Indiana, and completed her medical school education and residency training at Indiana University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Munchhof is an academic hospitalist at Eskenazi Hospital, which provides the ability to combine her passion of caring for hospitalized patients with teaching residents and students. Dr. Munchhof’s scholarly and research interests include transition of care at discharge, communication during transition of care from the hospital, and quality improvement. Dr. Munchhof serves as an associate program director for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine and as medical director of the Eskenazi Newborn unit at Eskenazi Hospital. Dr. Munchhof is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM), Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), and American College of Physicians (ACP).
