Bio

Dr. Dongwei Zhang is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University. He is a surgical pathologist who specializes in gastrointestinal/liver and head & neck pathology. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Mount Sinai Hospital/Medical Center, followed by Surgical Pathology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center and GI/Liver Pathology fellowship at University of Florida. Before he joined pathology residency, he also obtained his Ph.D. in Tumor Genetics and Biology and worked as postdoctoral fellow and instructor at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
