Angela Richardson, MD, PhD joined the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Neurological Surgery as an assistant professor in August. 2021. She is part of the department's team of multi-disciplinary neuro-oncology specialists. Dr. Richardson has an independent research laboratory focusing on gene therapy and oncolytic virotherapy strategies for the treatment of adult and pediatric brain tumors.
Dr. Richardson completed a Cerebrovascular/Skull Base Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, which followed her neurosurgery residency training and Surgical Neuro-Oncology fellowship at the University of Miami. She earned her MD/PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and her undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
