Bio
Why Emergency Medicine? I think it is incredible that in emergency medicine we have the opportunity to impact so many people and have the privilege of helping them at such a vulnerable time in their lives. I also love the variety and fast pace of emergency department; it’s an amazing and challenging field that pushes me to continue to grow.
Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? I wanted the opportunity to train at a program with a diverse population and robust clinical experiences. I have interests in pediatrics and critical care, so IUEM was a perfect fit with its amazing pediatric EM training, abundant critical care rotation, and multiple training sites. I also loved my interview day and am so glad to call IUEM my new home.
What are some of your personal interests? I love to read (especially thrillers at a good local coffee shop) and enjoy doing yoga or playing rec league soccer. I also enjoy baking and cooking in my spare time.
