Dr. Timothy D. Imler is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and serves as the Medical Director for our Springmill (Carmel) and Anson (Zionsville) clinics. He also directs our faculty scheduling for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Imler sees patients throughout our suburban campuses (Springmill/Anson/Saxony/North/Morgan) and serves as faculty for our University Hospital inpatient teaching service.
He graduated from Miami University in 2002 with degrees in Finance and Zoology and attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine graduating in 2006. He completed his Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Medical Informatics Fellowships at Indiana University finishing in 2013. He served as Chief Medical Resident at Indiana University Hospital and joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2013.
Dr. Imler did research through the Regenstrief Institute Center for Biomedical Informatics and served as the Medical Director for the Data Core and for Research Services. He has now focused his work on clinical care and expansion of our suburban practices.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Clinical Informatics.
