Bio

Hanying Chen received his M.D from Tong-Ji Medical University, Wuhan, China and joined as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research, Indiana University in 2000. In 2014, he became the manager of the Indiana University Mouse Transgenic Core. He introduced CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing technology to the Core, which has subsequently been used by a number of Core clients and provide technological support of mouse genetic manipulation to all laboratories at Indiana University.
