Bio

Dr. Rogers is a native of Marion, Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2005, he completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  Upon finishing his gastroenterology fellowship in 2011, he returned to join the faculty at Indiana University.  Dr. Rogers is currently an associate professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Digestive and Liver Disorders.  He sees patients in clinic at our Spring Mill and Saxony locations.  He also performs procedures at our Glen Lehman Endoscopy Suite and Douglas Rex Endoscopy Suite locations.  Dr. Rogers specializes in general gastrointestinal disorders, including GI bleeding, colon cancer screening, chronic diarrhea, chronic constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease and most other gastrointestinal disorders.  He has a particular interest in bleeding from the small bowel and is one a select few faculty members in our division who performs deep enteroscopy to localize and treat bleeding that is out of the reach of standard equipment.
