Bio
Dr. Angelina Polsinelli is a clinical neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Clinically, she evaluates adults with a variety of medical and neurological concerns, including individuals with dementia and neurodegenerative disease. She is an investigator with the Longitudinal Early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS) led by Dr. Liana Apostolova and faculty with the Outreach Recruitment and Engagement (OREC) core of the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (IADRC). Her research interests are in neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia caregiver interventions for historically underserved and marginalized communities. She also leads community outreach and education about brain health and the importance of early dementia detection through local churches, neighborhood centers, and senior living centers.
