Bio
Dr. McQuillan earned her PhD in Clinical Science in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and completed her clinical internship and fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. She is now an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, working in pediatric behavioral sleep medicine and high-risk asthma. Her research program aims to advance understanding of the development and treatment of sleep problems in children and their families, particularly among high stress, underserved populations. Her three primary lines of research are 1) interrelations between parent-child sleep and behavior across early childhood, 2) the development and treatment of insomnia and comorbid concerns among adolescents, and 3) health disparities involved in the detection and treatment of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. McQuillan has published 16 peer-reviewed research articles and 5 book chapters to date concerning these topics.Key Publications
