Lawrence S. Lee, MD

Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery


Dr. Lee is a native of southern California and received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2005. He completed a general surgery residency, research fellowship, and cardiothoracic surgery residency at the Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified in both Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, and practices at the IU Methodist Hospital. Dr. Lee specializes in the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery including coronary artery bypass, valve repair and replacement, aortic disease, and arrhythmias. He has a special interest in minimally invasive approaches for surgical and novel hybrid treatments for atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias.
