Roma G. Patel, MD, MPH

Dr. Patel is an emergency medicine resident physician. She earned her MD from University of Minnesota Medical School. Her professional interests are in research, medical education, public health and international medicine. Her hobbies include traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, board games, Bollywood dancing and trying new restaurants. Her favorite thing about practicing emergency medicine at IU School of Medicine is the people. “I felt like I was part of the family from the minute I attended the pre-interview dinner,” she says. “The faculty members were personable and welcoming – it truly felt like home from day one!”
