Emily A. Roth, Psy.D., MA

Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in Clinical Psychiatry

Pediatric Care Center (PCC Building)
1002 Wishard Blvd., Suite 4110

Indianapolis, IN

I came to IUSM to complete my predoctoral internship, stayed for my postdoctoral fellowship, and then joined the faculty in Fall 2018. I love the department and enjoy working with families in our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. I am part of the Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center team, and my clinical work focuses on the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. I obtained clinical reliability on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and utilize this tool to appropriately diagnose ASD. In treatment, I integrate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) principles. I also implement behavior parent training to assist parents in managing their child’s behaviors within the home. In addition to treating ASD and developmental disabilities, I treat comorbid psychiatric diagnoses including: anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behavior diagnoses, etc.
