Bio

I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in pediatric health.   I utilize evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help children cope with chronic illness and symptoms.  My goal is to optimize child health, functioning, and quality of life.  Caregivers play an important role in how children cope with their illnesses so I frequently involve parents in treatment and support their adjustment to their child’s illness as well.

I currently work in the Section of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.  I conduct assessment, consultation, and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer.  I also provide these services for childhood cancer survivors.
