Bio

Dr. Hartman is a board certified plastic surgeon with specialty training in acute care of the injured burn patient and burn reconstruction. Additionally, he has clinical interest in microsurgery breast reconstruction, breast reduction, lower extremity reconstruction, abdominal wall reconstruction, wound care, hand surgery, and cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts, and trunk.

Dr. Hartman completed his General Surgery Residency at Penn State University, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2009. He then pursued a Burn Surgery Fellowship at the esteemed Indiana University Program. In order to provide complete care to the most challenging patients, he then completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Loyola University in Chicago in 2011. Dr. Hartman then completed training in Plastic Surgery at Indiana University. His practice is predominantly at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and IU Health Methodist Hospital.
