Drug addiction is arguably the most prevalent psychological disorder in the United States and worldwide. The lack of sufficient treatment for this common disorder could, in part, be based upon inadequate models that parallel the human condition of addiction. To understand, and treat, the complex process of drug addiction multifaceted models and approaches are required. Therefore, my research is focused on the development of novel models of drug addiction and other psychological disorders.
