Laura Shopp, MD

Dr. Shopp is an Indianapolis native who received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College. She returned to Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her General Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, and Preventive Cardiology training at Riley Hospital for Children. She is board-certified in General Pediatrics and board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Her current scope of practice includes management of congenital heart disease, transthoracic echocardiography, and fetal echocardiography. She also specializes in the management of pediatric dyslipidemia, hypertension, and obesity. 

Dr. Shopp is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and exercise. She is an avid yogi and a firm believer that physical activity and a healthy mind go hand in hand. She also enjoys singing and playing the piano.
