Bio
Dr. Lauren Stewart is an assistant professor of emergency medicine and has been a faculty member at IU since 2018. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2015 and completed her residency training in emergency medicine at Indiana University in 2018. She works clinically at Eskenazi Hospital. She completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree in 2020. Her research focuses on the role of metabolic syndrome in venous thromboembolism, specifically its impact on VTE recurrence. Outside of the department, Lauren enjoys traveling, attending concerts and cheering on IU basketball.
