Michael Johansen, DO

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Michael Johansen earned his D.O. degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed a combined residency in pediatrics and internal medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine where he also went on to complete his pediatric cardiology fellowship. Dr. Johansen joined the staff at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan before returning to Riley in 2014. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and pediatric cardiology. Dr. Johansen subspecializes in pediatric pulmonary hypertension and is the co-director of their multi-disciplinary program with the division of pediatric pulmonology in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of all forms of pediatric pulmonary hypertension.
