My research goals are to facilitate and advance translational research towards the development of improved biomarkers and therapies for clinical pathologies.

Specialty: Transplant Surgery Clinical Research Interests: Evaluating metabolic markers associated with chronic allograft nephropathy. Basic Research Interests: Mechanisms of hepatic and renal fibrosis and the development of associated complications. Role of nitric oxide and prostacyclin in the formation of splanchnic hyperemia, hepatic sinusoid constriction, and portal hypertension.
