Bio

Dr. Trautman’s residency in pediatrics was at the John Hopkins Hospital and UCLA Medical Center, where he was the Chief Resident. He completed his Fellowship in Neonatology and Developmental Biology at Stanford Medical Center. Prior to Indiana University School of Medicine, he was Assistant and Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Sections of Neonatology and Human Development and Aging at University of Utah. He is now Clinical Professor of Pediatrics with Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also serves as Medical Director of Indiana University Health Lifeline transport services. His areas of interest include critical care transport, neonatal sepsis, acute lung injury, and developmental organogenesis.
