A multi-disciplinary team manages and teaches the Simulation Instructor Course which evolved from the NICU Simulation Community Outreach Program collaborative. Providers throughout the state recognized a growing need for simulation-based medical education and requested training to develop and execute successful simulation programming. In response, the Simulation Outreach Team developed the Simulation Instructor Course as an education modality designed to assist educators of all disciplines in developing simulation skills.
The Simulation Team also includes Emily Gunselman, RN (Riley Maternity & Newborn Health Outreach & Education Manager); Lisa Mayer, RN (Lead Simulation Educator and Associate Director, Neonatal Resuscitation Program); Bri Boston, RN (Simulation Educator); Alyssa Cougill (Administrative Support; Simulation and Education); Donna Mantooth, RN (Simulation Educator); Emily Baker, RN (Simulation Educator).
