Submit Additional Materials

MD applicants selected for an interview receive a request for Supplemental and IUPUI Graduate Office materials. These materials must be returned to the IU School of Medicine MD Admissions Office for processing before an interview can be scheduled.

These materials include:

  • Three Letters of Recommendation: Two academic letters (one science and one non-science) from someone who has taught the applicant in a class AND one personal letter
  • Legal Disclosure Form
  • Academic Disclosure Form: Form must be completed by the person at the applicant’s undergraduate institution who handles disciplinary actions.
  • Graduate School Application: Complete and submit the IUPUI Graduate Office application and fee ($65)

Application Status Tracker

The IU School of Medicine MD program is a competitive medical education program that attracts more than 7000 applicants each year. All applications are processed at the Indianapolis campus Admissions Office. Admissions staff will notify applicants if materials are missing.

Applicants can check the status of their materials in the Applicant Portal. Please allow 6-8 weeks for materials to be received, processed, and updated in the portal. Please email the IU School of Medicine MD Office of Admissions for questions about applications unrelated to status.
