International Rotations

At IU School of Medicine global health is about changing and improving health around the world, particularly in resource-limited places. The school’s international footprint in health care practice, policy, and research spans more than ten countries on four continents. Fellows and faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Trauma program routinely participate in one-to-two week international rotations. These have historically been to either Eldoret, Kenya or Hangzhou, China. While overseas, they engage in case conferences, provide didactic presentations, and scrub in daily to assist in surgery.

The international experience has been culturally enriching and very popular among both fellows and faculty.
