The Office of Strategic Communications at IU School of Medicine is consolidating the various legacy websites containing information about the school, its work and programs. The website consolidation and rebuild project is expected to improve content discovery and user experience to audiences seeking information about the school and provide a more integrated and modern digital experience. With bold images of school faculty and students, the new website also conveys a collaborative working and learning environment at IU School of Medicine. Until the full migration is complete, the IU School of Medicine website will feature both new pages and legacy site pages.

As part of the Office of Strategic Communications, the Visual Media team provides graphic design, medical illustration, photography, and poster production services.
The Office of Strategic Communications oversees schoolwide internal communications, including InScope, the School’s internal weekly newsletter, and MedTV, an internal digital signage system at several IU School of Medicine campuses. To improve communications and make schoolwide information easily accessible on a centralized digital platform, the Office of Strategic Communications initiated and oversaw the production of IU School of Medicine’s first limited-scope intranet, MedNet, which launched in the spring of 2016.
