MD Training

MD Training

Medical students interested in dermatology can apply for a clinical elective during their third or fourth year of medical school. This hands-on training exposes students to real-world clinical care.
Residencies

Residencies

IU School of Medicine offers a three-year dermatology residency that teaches clinical and technical skills related to the diagnosis and management of diseases of hair, nails and skin.
Fellowships

Fellowships

Each year IU School of Medicine offers a one-year pediatric dermatology fellowship that focuses on specialized training of pediatric skin diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Department of Dermatology at IU School of Medicine supports the ongoing efforts of medical professionals throughout the United States to engage in self-assessment and evaluation.
