The first seven months of the program provide knowledge and technical training in all areas of the clinical laboratory, including diagnostic microbiology, hematology, clinical chemistry, immunohematology and molecular diagnostics. The Indiana University School of Medicine Clinical Laboratory Science Bachelor’s degree program offers an 11-month professional curriculum consisting of 36 credit hours that begins in the fall semester and finishes upon completion of the first summer session.
