Why I chose Family Medicine: With my interest in taking care of patients in all stages of their lives, Family Medicine is the perfect fit. It will allow me to build long-term relationships with patients and partner with them to help them achieve their health goals. It will also give me the space to advocate for my community as a whole and to specifically work with traditionally underserved populations. 

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose this program because of the warm welcome I felt from the residents, the faculty, and the support staff even over a virtual interview! With the program’s diverse opportunities to practice full-spectrum family medicine, I hope to explore my interests in obstetrics and community medicine further.  

Interests and hobbies: My hobbies include dancing, reading, cooking, and playing board games.
