Why I chose Family Medicine: I enjoy taking care of diverse groups and demographics of people and I appreciate the flexibility of practice settings family medicine offers. It's a specialty that places emphasis on caring for the patient holistically and I think that's important in becoming compassionate doctors. 

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: The program is an unopposed university program in a community setting giving us the best of both worlds training as family physicians. Also, the culture of the program is very supportive and conducive for learning. 

Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, sight-seeing, and learning instruments.
