Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: I wanted to go into family medicine because it is a broad field that permits flexibility in how I can choose to practice in the future. Family medicine is a discipline that will allow me to help my patients throughout all ages and stages of life, and I will enjoy forming relationships that have the potential to last lifetimes.
Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose this program largely because of the opportunities the broad curriculum and diverse tracks will allow for. I think becoming well-rounded during the early years of my training will allow for me to be the best family medicine physician I can possibly be. In addition to the educational opportunities, I want to be at a program where I will feel supported by my peers and faculty and it was clear to me that IU will provide this.
Personal interests and hobbies: In my free time I really enjoy traveling and being outdoors, I am big into visiting the various National Parks of the United States, where I like to camp and hike. I also like to play golf and take my dog for walks when the weather is nice.
