Why Emergency Medicine? Emergency Medicine encompasses the best parts (in my opinion) of every specialty. We see diverse pathologies and tackle problems from primary care to critical care and trauma. We also get to be there for people on their worst days, which is an amazing opportunity.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? I admired the clinical competence of the IUEM residents I worked with as a medical student at IU and was impressed by how happy they were in the program. There was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to stay.

What are some of your personal interests? In my free time I enjoy linguistics, choral music, running, biking on the Monon Trail and spending time with my growing family!
